The poster is a shot of Michael walking along the city street as he's on his way to place the backpack and bomb the city.
The title takes up the majority of the poster as the letters are made up by the background image. The idea behind this was that by leaving the rest of the picture in the black, that was the metaphorical place that I thought the audience would be left in as they are given a small insight into what the film is about whilst still being in the dark as to the true nature of the film.
To give some indication as to what the film is about I split the picture into three separate sections and coloured them green white and orange, in that order, which represents the Irish flag.

Due to the recolouring that has been done on the picture it is probably not clear to someone who has not seen the 'before shot' what they are looking at. This fits with the thriller genre as things are never obvious or explained as the idea is to always make the audience ask questions.
